These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, programs, services, events, incubation initiatives, accelerator programs, mentorship engagements, advisory services, educational content, workshops, networking opportunities, investor-connect activities, and all related offerings operated by SACC.

By accessing our website, applying to a program, registering for an event, participating in any SACC initiative, or using any service provided by SACC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. OUR SERVICES

SACC is a startup ecosystem organization that supports entrepreneurs, startups, innovators, students, and businesses through various initiatives, including:

  • Startup incubation programs
  • Startup accelerator programs
  • Mentorship and advisory support
  • Capacity-building and training programs
  • Workshops, masterclasses, and educational sessions
  • Investor readiness and fundraising support
  • Investor introductions and networking opportunities
  • Startup showcase events and demo days
  • Corporate innovation programs
  • Entrepreneurship development initiatives
  • Innovation ecosystem programs
  • Community and networking events

SACC acts solely as an ecosystem enabler, facilitator, and support organization.

2. ELIGIBILITY

By using our website or participating in any SACC program or service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
  • Any information submitted by you is true, accurate, complete, and current.
  • You possess all necessary authority to act on behalf of any organization you represent.
  • Your participation does not violate any law, regulation, contract, or third-party right.

SACC reserves the right to reject, suspend, or terminate participation at its sole discretion.

3. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

SACC provides access to resources, mentorship, training, investor networks, workshops, advisory support, and ecosystem opportunities.

Participation in any SACC service, program, event, or initiative does not guarantee:

  • Funding or investment
  • Business success
  • Revenue generation
  • Customer acquisition
  • Market acceptance
  • Commercial viability
  • Partnerships
  • Regulatory approvals
  • Employment opportunities
  • Business growth
  • Profitability
  • Any specific outcome or result

All services are provided on a best-efforts basis.

Any business, financial, legal, operational, fundraising, or strategic decisions remain solely the responsibility of the participant.

4. MENTORSHIP AND ADVISORY DISCLAIMER

SACC may provide access to mentors, advisors, speakers, consultants, founders, investors, industry experts, and ecosystem partners.

Any guidance, recommendations, opinions, feedback, suggestions, or information provided through such interactions are for informational and educational purposes only.

Such information shall not be construed as:

  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Investment advice
  • Tax advice
  • Regulatory advice
  • Accounting advice
  • Professional consulting services

Participants should obtain independent professional advice before making any material business, financial, legal, investment, or operational decisions.

SACC shall not be liable for any loss, claim, damage, liability, expense, business interruption, investment loss, missed opportunity, or other consequence arising from reliance upon any advice, recommendation, opinion, or information provided through any SACC program or representative.

5. INVESTOR INTRODUCTIONS

SACC may facilitate introductions to investors, venture capital firms, angel investors, family offices, corporate investors, funding agencies, and other funding sources.

SACC does not:

  • Guarantee investment
  • Guarantee fundraising success
  • Endorse any investor
  • Represent any investor
  • Act as an investment advisor
  • Participate in investment decisions
  • Guarantee the suitability of any investor

All discussions, negotiations, investments, and transactions between participants and investors are conducted independently and at the sole risk of the parties involved.

6. APPLICATIONS AND PROGRAM PARTICIPATION

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into any SACC program.

SACC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

  • Accept or reject applications
  • Shortlist applicants
  • Remove participants
  • Suspend participation
  • Modify eligibility requirements
  • Change program structures
  • Cancel or postpone programs, events, workshops, or initiatives

SACC shall not be required to provide reasons for such decisions.

7. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Participants agree that they shall not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Misrepresent their business, team, finances, technology, or achievements
  • Engage in unlawful activity
  • Infringe third-party rights
  • Disrupt SACC programs or events
  • Misuse confidential information
  • Damage the reputation of SACC or its stakeholders
  • Engage in fraudulent, unethical, abusive, or inappropriate conduct

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All trademarks, logos, brand assets, content, materials, publications, methodologies, frameworks, templates, educational content, program materials, and website content belonging to SACC remain the exclusive property of SACC.

Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions grants any ownership rights to users.

Any intellectual property owned or developed by participating startups shall remain the property of the respective startup unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. CONFIDENTIALITY

Participants may receive confidential information relating to SACC, its partners, mentors, investors, programs, and other participants.

Participants agree not to disclose, copy, distribute, misuse, or exploit such information without prior written consent.

This obligation shall survive the termination of participation.

Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions grants any ownership rights to users.

Any intellectual property owned or developed by participating startups shall remain the property of the respective startup unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. PUBLICITY AND BRANDING

By participating in SACC programs, events, or initiatives, participants grant SACC a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use:

  • Company name
  • Founder name
  • Logo
  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Testimonials
  • Program participation details

for promotional, educational, reporting, media, investor-relations, and marketing purposes.

Participants may request exclusion from specific publicity activities by providing written notice to SACC.

11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SACC, its directors, officers, employees, mentors, advisors, volunteers, consultants, partners, affiliates, sponsors, and representatives from and against any claims, actions, proceedings, damages, losses, liabilities, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms and Conditions
  • Any false, inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information provided by you
  • Violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Violation of third-party rights
  • Fundraising activities conducted by you
  • Products or services developed, sold, distributed, or promoted by you
  • Any dispute involving your startup, business, founders, employees, customers, investors, suppliers, or partners
  • Your participation in any SACC program, event, activity, or initiative
  • Any act, omission, negligence, misconduct, or unlawful activity by you

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

SACC shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Incidental damages
  • Special damages
  • Punitive damages
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of revenue
  • Loss of business opportunities
  • Loss of goodwill
  • Loss of data
  • Investment losses

SACC’s aggregate liability arising from or related to the use of its website, services, programs, events, mentorship activities, advisory services, incubation initiatives, acceleration programs, or investor-connect activities shall not exceed INR 1,00,000.

13. NO FIDUCIARY RELATIONSHIP

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, employment relationship, fiduciary relationship, or investment advisory relationship between SACC and any participant.

Participants remain solely responsible for their own decisions and actions.

14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

SACC may provide access to third-party platforms, service providers, investors, mentors, consultants, sponsors, event venues, software tools, and ecosystem partners.

SACC is not responsible for the actions, services, content, performance, or conduct of any third party.

Any engagement with a third party is solely between the participant and the third party.

15. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

SACC does not guarantee uninterrupted access to its website or services.

SACC may suspend, modify, update, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the website or services without notice.

16. TERMINATION

SACC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its website, services, programs, or events at any time if a participant:

  • Violates these Terms and Conditions
  • Provides false information
  • Engages in misconduct
  • Violates applicable laws
  • Damages the reputation or interests of SACC

Termination shall not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to termination.

17. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith discussions.

If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mohali, Punjab, India.

The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

SACC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on the website.

Continued use of the website or participation in SACC services following such updates shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
