Here’s the team behind the ongoing accomplishment of this state-of-the-art ecosystem.

 

Mr. Manipal Dhariwal

Manipal Dhariwal is a first generation, globally recognized serial entrepreneur with 20+ years of Industry experience. He is responsible for creating a footprint of excellence in the IT business universally. In spite of business footprints in more than 4 continents and being a true Punjabi at heart, he moved back to the roots with an intent to see home region grow to its maximum potential. In addition to founding multiple state award winning IT companies like Netsmartz and Sebiz InfoTech, he supports the portfolio of more than 10 startups from the region. He has successfully mentored over 50 IT oriented Startups in the last 10 years.

With contributing business investments of over 100 crores in the region, he has successfully created over 600 direct jobs and around 2000 indirect jobs in India, especially in the Punjab and Delhi NCR region.

Along with his ongoing business, he is also responsible for steering the SACC India Chapter as its serving President. SACC (Startup Accelerator Chamber of Commerce) is a Startup centric body with a prominent base in North India. His vision for SACC is “to improve the condition of mankind, through the medium of entrepreneurship” and he firmly believes in it.

In addition to SACC, Manipal Dhariwal is also collaborating with other like-minded institutions to foster the Startup culture in the region.

Mr. Nitin Monga

Nitin Monga is a serial entrepreneur who witnessed the hardships of rural life growing up, which motivated him to create positive change in society. Nitin believed that technology could help solve problems faced by ordinary people. In 2001, he launched Zed Career Academy, a computer center in collaboration with Zee TV and Kurukshetra University. Upon tasting success, in 2007 Nitin and his brother Vikram started We Excel, a software company with two developers in Chandigarh.

Despite initial difficulties, Nitin persevered and sought collaborations with the government to make a mass-scale impact. We Excel landed a project for HAFED in 2009 and won a contract with the Central Warehousing Corporation. Today, the Warehousing Corporations of Bihar and Orissa use We Excel’s application. Under Nitin’s leadership, We Excel streamlined the admission process for over 150 colleges and 14500 schools in Haryana through its product One School.

Nitin also serves on the board of SACC (Startup Accelerator Chamber of Commerce), North India. He believes that strengthening the startup ecosystem is the key to fighting poverty. Nitin has inspired rural children to “dream big and dream right” through his contributions to Progressive Punjab and Happening Haryana Summits. He is a role model for young entrepreneurs and aspiring change-makers.

Mr. Vineet Khurana

Vineet Khurana is a startup builder and social capitalist.

His 14+ years of industry experience reflects building and scaling startups from ground zero. As the Vice president of Chandigarh Angels Network, he built a diverse community of angel investors and led multi-bagger exits in startups like Biryani by Kilo, Eckovation and others.

Currently as the CEO of SACC India, he is on a mission with his team for supporting rural and women entrepreneurs at grass root levels with several initiatives like incubation, mentorship, fundraising etc. SACC’s incubation portfolio of 150+ startups is reflecting exponential growth in diverse industry sectors.

Mr. Maninder S. Bajwa

Maninder Singh Bajwa, is a first generation entrepreneur, building IT products and services in the Education Sector. After completing his Software Engineering from Monash University Melbourne, he floated his EdTech company, Espranza Innovations, at the age of 23. It was in 2013 that one of his product, “iScuela” (K-12 self-learning platform) got recognised, firstly at World Education Congress in Mumbai and then it went on to win “Overall Winner”, for addressing, UN MDG : “Education for all” at United Nation’s World Summit Youth Awards. Post the awards he was invited to become the Ambassador for World Summit Awards. iScuela today has reached more than 100,000 students across 450 cities and town across 22 states of India.

Recently Maninder and his team were chosen to work with Coca Cola India and NDTV for their Support My School Campaign, as knowledge partners. Under this campaign his team will take up schools in phases and look to implement solutions to improve learning levels in the rural government schools in India. The project has already taken off in Punjab and would be scaled to 600 schools leading to 1000 in the coming 3-5 years.

Maninder was selected in the Top 30 under 30 list of a leading Daily, Hindustan Times. He has also been selected to take part in World Economic Forum Event, Annual Meeting of New Champions, as one of the 50 young change makers across the world.

Dr. Satbir Singh Kadian

Dr. Satbir Singh Kadian, a distinguished name, an administrator, policy formulator, advisor on infrastructure and policy issues , an authority, a person with a vision, a person with right decision making and a person who is well respected in the entire State of Haryana – known for his honesty and contribution to irrigation and Water Resources Department Dr. Kadian a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in the field of Functional ERP and Policy promotion , after completing his Ph.D he started serving Government of Haryana with his expertise in 1998 and after 20 years of his service and distinguished vision, he was able to get Central Board of Irrigation and Power Award 2018 for the Government of Haryana – this award was presented to him by Union Minister of Water Resources and Clean Ganga Mission (Honorable Nitin Gadkari ji) and he represented the entire state while receiving it.

Under the leadership of Dr. Kadian as the Chief Engineer of Irrigation and Water Resources Department, the Government of Haryana was able to carry water to all the villages, right up to the Rajasthan Border, after the span of more than 28 years.

Apart from his excellent thought, vision and various achievements he is person who likes to give back to the society and wants to raise the standard of all – with this though he helps the youth by promotion of entrepreneurship and now an board member and indispensable part of Startup Accelerator Chamber of Commerce.

Adv. Ashish Sarup

Ashish is a corporate lawyer and Managing Partner of ASA legal Corp. a premier Law Firm and brings with him an experience of 20 years in advising Indian and International clients on Corporate Commercial Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Pharma and Life Sciences, Real Estate, Infrastructure Development Industry, Asset Acquisitions, Power and other Energy Projects, Telecommunications and Cellular Telephony, Intellectual Property, Information Technology including Cyber Laws, Banking and Finance, Formation of Companies, Amalgamations, Liquidations, Foreign Investment Proposals, Joint Ventures, Collaborations and Corporate litigation. Has been extensively involved in advising Multinational Companies on their strategy and operations like AT & T, XL Group USA, J. Walter Thompson, India, DEL MONTE USA, AGA Medical Corporation USA, Endeavour Capital Fund LLP, Vornado Realty Trust (USA), Infosys India, Convergys India, Apollo Hospitals India, AMAZON INDIA, MENLOW, DLF DELANCO, EMAAR MGF, CARNIVAL MEDIA GROUP.

Smriti Sharma

Ms. Smriti Sharma

Smriti Sharma is a communication expert by degree, a writer by passion and a community builder by profession. She grew up in a joint family and learnt her first lessons of community building at a young age. Having worked as a content, communication and community expert she believes in creating a difference through her work. Previously, she has headed the content of an outsourcing magazine, community of a co-working space having three branches and created advertising campaigns for several brands.

In the various roles played, she has been the face and voice of the organisation. Instrumental in organising events such as team building and skill building. Smriti has won various accolades such as Best Person and Change Maker. In her free time, she teaches English to the under privileged segment of the society.

She loves to read extensively, give soft skill training and nurture start-ups. Her mantra in life is to learn a new thing everyday.

Ms. Manisha

Manisha works closely with emerging women entrepreneurs, helping them turn their skills into sustainable business opportunities. Her focus lies in building strong on-ground connections, identifying potential, and guiding women through the early stages of their entrepreneurial journey.

She actively supports access to mentorship, training, and financial linkages, including government schemes that can enable women to scale their ideas into viable enterprises. Her approach is practical and hands-on, ensuring participants gain both confidence and clarity in building their ventures.

With experience in strategic outreach and partnerships, she understands how to bring the right support systems together. Driven by a strong commitment to women’s empowerment, Manisha aims to create meaningful impact by enabling economic independence and long-term growth at the grassroots level.

Mr. Rituraj Mahato

Rituraj Mahato works on strategy and research initiatives within the startup and broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. His role involves conducting market and industry research, analyzing trends, and generating insights that support decision-making across various engagements.

He actively contributes to startup evaluation, helping assess business potential, market fit, and growth opportunities. Through his work, he engages with founders, mentors, and ecosystem stakeholders, gaining a deeper understanding of how startups scale and operate.

With a strong focus on analytical thinking and structured problem-solving, Rituraj continues to build his expertise in business strategy and ecosystem insights, contributing to more informed and effective decision-making.

Ms. Kavita Devi

Kavita Devi works closely at the grassroots level, leading outreach and coordination efforts across the district. Her role focuses on connecting with local communities, identifying individuals with potential, and bringing them into structured support systems.

She plays a key role in building trust, ensuring smooth communication, and helping participants stay engaged throughout the journey. Through regular interactions and on-ground presence, she understands real challenges and works to address them effectively.

With a strong sense of responsibility and connection to the community, Kavita contributes to creating opportunities at the local level and enabling individuals to take their first steps towards growth and self-reliance.
